All Altro Whiterock Splashbacks take around 3 days to manufacture and prepare for despatch. Please add this time to our stated delivery times.

Goods which are prefabricated, bespoke or that are made to a customer specifications may not be returned unless there is a manufacturing default or the goods are damaged when they arrive with you, this includes Altro Whiterock Splashbacks.

Please note that when ordering Altro Whiterock Splashbacks, there needs to be a dimensional variation tolerance of + 3mm, dependant on the method of cutting the sheet.

Altro Whiterock Splashbacks are not designed to be installed stacked or butted to create a continuous tile effect.

Any imagery used to show continuous designs represent full size sheets – not Altro Whiterock Splashbacks.

What is Altro Whiterock Splashback?

It’s a seriously tough 2.5mm thick, semi rigid extruded sheet as an alternative to traditional tiled walls. If offers a resilient, hygienic wall protection solution that gives a modern finish to any interior space.

How is Altro Whiterock Splashback attached to the wall?

We recommend that the Altro Whiterock Splashback sheet is fully bonded to the substrate or existing tiles, using the same adhesives that are used for the Altro Whiterock range. The fully bonded application ensures that the sheet is securely mounted to the wall and helps to increase the level of impact resistance.

How good does the substrate need to be?

To gain a good bond, the wall or tiles will need to be sound, dry, grease and dust-free. As a guide, the same substrate quality and cleanliness as the Altro Whiterock installation process, and the same good working practices should be followed. Full fitting instructions are available from Altro.

 How many colours are available and what are they?

There are 58 colours in the range and you can choose from any of the colours in Altro Whiterock Satins, Altro Whiterock Chameleon and Altro Whiterock wall designs ranges.

 What sizes are available?

There are 14 pre-cut standard sizes available, see below for options. A cut sheet service is also available from Altro. Please contact us for further details. Sheets are 2.5mm thick.

Are there any accessories?

We do offer a range of colour coded trims and mastics to help with jointing if required.

Where is Altro Whiterock Splashback used?

Bathrooms, Toilets, Wet rooms, for hand wash basins and vanity units, Kitchens, Serveries or Spas.

How does it compare with other Splashbacks on the market?

The Altro Whiterock Splashback is very competitive, the sheet is thicker and more robust than many other sheets on the market. The product is also positioned very competitively compared with other sheet material and all supported by the high level of quality, service and support that you have come to expect from Altro.

Can the Altro Whiterock Splashback be thermoformed?

Yes, this material performs in the same way that the existing Altro Whiterock sheet does. The material can be formed into and around corners leading to a very secure and seamless installation.

How will the Altro Whiterock Splashback be delivered, rolled or flat sheet?

This will be supplied as a flat sheet(s) only, so it is flat when you need to install it rather than having a curve from being rolled.

Can I get a sample to have a look at?

The Altro Whiterock samples sets are available as a swatch set showing colours and textures as well as A5 samples pieces.

What is the warranty for Altro Whiterock Splashback?

The Altro Whiterock Splashback warranty is the same as Altro Whiterock wall cladding which is 20 years.
