1. What training workshops do Altro offer?
We currently offer six training workshops which can be found under the menu ‘Training Centre Workshops’ They are:
1. Altro Training Centre Workshop - Introduction to Altro flooring
2. Altro Training Centre Workshop - Advanced Altro safety flooring training
3. Altro Training Centre Workshop - Introduction to Altro modular flooring (LVT)
4. Altro Training Centre Workshop - Introduction to Altro adhesive-free flooring
5. Altro Training Centre Workshop - Introduction to Altro Whiterock wall systems
6. Altro Training Centre Workshop - Introduction to Altro Whiterock welding
2. What time do the workshops start and finish?
1. Introduction to Altro Flooring (day 1- 09:00-16:30, day 2- 09:00-16:30, day 3- 09:00-16:00)
2. Advanced Altro safety flooring training (09:00-16:00 both days)
3. Introduction to Altro modular flooring (LVT) (09:00-16:00 both days)
4. Introduction to Altro adhesive-free flooring (09:00-16:00)
5. Introduction to Altro Whiterock wall systems (09:00-16:00 day 1, 09:00-15:00 day 2)
6. Introduction to Altro Whiterock welding (09:00-15:00)
All workshop finishing times for each day are subject to change, both shorter or slightly longer, depending on the speed and ability of the students.
3. I need to re-schedule my booking. How do I do this?
To re-schedule any training workshop, please contact us by telephone on 01462 480480 or email us: trainingcentre@altro.com. We can only re-schedule within 5 working days of the date of the workshop.
4. I want to cancel and get a refund. How do I do this?
To receive a full refund, please contact us more than 5 working days in advance of the training workshop start date. Fees cannot be refunded within 5 working days or less of the start of the training workshop.
5. I want to get more information on a training workshop. Who do I talk to?

Accommodation is not included in any of our training centre workshops.
7. How can I pay for my workshop?
AltroDirect accepts all major debit and credit cards including Apple, Google and Shop Pay,
We also now accept BACS. Please read our Terms of Sale for more information.
8. What is the maximum capacity of each training centre workshop?
For either of our floors or walls workshops it is a maximum of 6 people.
For our walls welding workshop it is a maximum of 4 people.
9. Are lunch and refreshments provided during the training centre workshops?
For all of our workshops, lunch is provided on each day and teas, coffee and cold water available throughout the training.

11. Where are the training locations for us to travel to?
For our floors and walls training centre workshops they will be at the Altro Head Office at Works Road, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, SG6 1NW. Please click here for a helpful map.
12. Where do I go on arrival to Altro Letchworth?
On arrival, please follow the ‘Visitor/Training School’ car park signs and park in front of the main building. The trainer will meet you in reception at 09:00, sign you in and escort you through the building to the Training Centre. If you are running late, please call us on 01462 480480.
Please be aware that Altro Head office in Letchworth is a strictly no smoking site. We would request that visitors needing to smoke do so in the designated area which your trainer will show you and away from the main entrance doors. We have a professional working environment, and we ask all visitors to behave appropriately.
As part of our friendly culture, we have an open-door policy so please be mindful of noise levels and tone of conversation as you walk through the building.

13. What are the Health and Safety requirements for Altro workshops?
Please note that, due to the practical nature of the training, anyone attending our Training Centre workshops should be wearing steel toecap safety footwear. Appropriate work trousers should also be worn, as opposed to shorts. Cut resistant gloves will be provided by us on the day and are mandatory whilst handling sharp tools.
